QUESTION ABOUT NECK LIFT UNDER LOCAL ANESTHESIA:
In patients candidates a neck lift can be performed under local anesthesia and can give a good result in the jaw line without a facelift type of scar. These patients candidates usually have most of the aging changes in the neck and have mild to moderate mid face and lower face aging.
In my practice, I routinely perform neck lifts under loca anesthesia. At the same I tight the jaw line through the same neck lift incisions if the patient doesn’t have significant redundant skin in the lower face. Liposuction is very often performed at the same time to make the jowls less prominent and enhance the jaw line.
